The Most Influential Movie To My Life🚢

No other movie influenced me the most than TITANIC. The movie totally changed my perspective in life in so many ways. It made me a gem nut and eventually professionally studied gemology, design & sell jewelries. It's all because of my fascination for the 'Heart Of The Ocean Necklace'.💙

Though in the movie the necklace was nothing but a prop but the worldwide impact it made is epic and it helped promoted natural color diamonds to the limelight & countless of jewelers made their replica of the necklace. TITANIC became the most popular movie of all times worldwide and a classic that even up to now it is still being watched & still a film of great significance.

The maker of the 'Heart Of The Ocean Necklace' decided to make a real necklace but using a Ceylon blue sapphire instead of the extremely rare blue diamond as the only heart shape blue diamond in existence fit for the design is the 27 carat fancy vivid blue 'Heart Of Eternity' diamond & it's not for sale.

Celine Dion wore the real 'Heart Of The Ocean Necklace' to the 1998 Oscars Academy Awards when she sang her award winning TITANIC theme song 'My Heart Will Go On'. Back then that necklace was worth $1.2 million dollars & later sold at a charity auction for $2.2 million dollars.

Gerard & Asprey the maker of the prop 'Heart Of The Ocean Necklace' decided to make a real version using a 171 carat heart shape blue Ceylon sapphire & 103 carats of diamonds mounted in platinum necklace worn here by Oscar winner Celine Dion. The necklace was sold for $2.2 million dollars to an anonymous buyer from a charity auction. Though it is not the most expensive necklace ever worn at the Oscars it is certainly the most popular.

Not known to many Harry Winston also made a more expensive version of 'The Heart Of The Ocean Necklace' using a real 15 carat blue diamond though it isn't heart shape & from the looks of it the color of the blue diamond is either intense or vivid. Due to the rarity of blue diamonds this Harry Winston version is valued at $20 million dollars back then! 10 times more expensive than what Celine Dion wore & Gloria Stuart who played Old Rose & a Oscar nominee also wore this during the Academy Awards in 1998. In the video below when James Cameron accepted the Oscars Best Picture & Best Director trophies for his film TITANIC the $20 million dollars blue diamond necklace Gloria Stuart wore is clearly visible from the front row.

Many people are asking where are these incredible pieces of jewelry now? Well we don't know coz the buyers of such expensive things usually choosed to remain anonymous. If ever they will wear it in public it will be obvious so most likely they're locked inside a safe & treated as an investment. Both 'Heart Of The Ocean Necklaces' are worth far more today and with the popularity of the movie TITANIC once these jewelry pieces comes out in public either for sale at an auction or to be displayed it will surely make a worldwide sensation & that's the power of rare special gems & a dash of movie magic. ✨
