Since all is revealed that I am into  natural color diamonds still diamonds be it white or colored is still is my favorite gemstone and the world would have to agree as white diamonds still is the most popular and number one selling gemstone.

But why?

 Well most diamond consumers are not connoisseurs, collectors & investors and their number reason why they purchase jewelry is to accessorize or for the sake of their own image. De Beers succesfully marketed diamonds as the ultimate engagement or proposal gift even though throughout the history of the civilized world, diamonds are not really invented as the focal point of engagement rings. Long before De Beers coined the famous phrase 'a diamond is forever' the center stone being used for engagement rings or any engagement presents could be any gems and some even use tooth! 

But why did white diamonds manage to be the most popular of gemstones and the number one selling center stone for engagement rings? 

 Well let make take you to a short summary of the company that is responsible for making diamonds the new KING OF GEMS! 👑

Aside from De Beers the answer to why diamonds became so popular is quite simple and with just one word; and that is beauty! Undeniably the sparkle, brilliance, adamantine luster & transparency of diamonds is unmatched & for most people a classic white diamond is the most beautiful gemstone in the world and even if De Beers would try to market a tooth as a center stone for engagement rings it will  only be popular for a while. In other words you cannot succesfully market something that doesn't appeal to many and interestingly it is in our instincts that we are attracted to something shiny and nothing shine & sparkles like a perfect diamond.

Trivia: Did you know Shirley Bassey is the only singer in the world who's obligated to wear diamond jewelry or diamond jewelries provided by any jeweler everytime she sings her timeless song 'Diamonds Are Forever'? It is a crime for her and the diamond jewelers to let her sing that famous 007 James Bond Theme Song without wearing at least one diamond jewelry.

PDU30 2nd State Of The Nation Address👊

Today is President Rodrigo Roa Duterte's 2nd State Of The Nation Address or SONA. As expected his speech is long and entertaining to the delight of the live audience and those wathching on tv like me. He addressed about his accomplishments & what are the most important things his administration should prioritize such as elimination of destructive mining, creating jobs, healthcare and the traffic problem as well as putting a stop on rebellion, insurgencies, terrorism and the passage of the death penalty bill. My Bet For Miss World Philippines 2017 👑

Miss World Philippines 2017 pageant night is tommorow and for the first time since 2011 this pageant doesn't have a sure winner coz there is at least 4 to 5 who can win the major title of Miss World Philippines 2017! The other 3 minor crowns are oh well minor & I can't even memorize what they are. The MWP has a new pageant director Arnold Vegafria a popular talent manager in The Philippines since Cory Quirino decided to let go of the Miss World Philippines franchise after she felt as well as the overwhelming majority thinks Catriona Gray was deliberately robbed from the Miss World 2016 pageant last year which caused the Miss World Organization to lose their appeal worldwide especially to the Filipinos.
