The most beautiful ruby of them all is the 'Sunrise Ruby' weighing a little over 25.59 carats it sold for over $30.3 million dollars or $1.1 million dollars per carat!

It is the most expensive ruby ever sold at auction and the most expensive gemstone that is not a diamond!

David Bennett Jewellery Chairman of Sotheby's said to the int'l press after the succesful auction of the gem that such rubies are even rarer than pink & blue diamonds. 

 And I have to agree with him coz there are several flawless pink and blue diamonds that weighed from a 30 to 45 to over a hundred carats but the 'Sunrise Ruby' is by far the largest finest quality unheated & untreated Mogok Burma ruby making it truly an absolute scarcity and among the rarest gems on Earth & more special than a Rembrandt painting.
To many poets the ruby is the most beautiful gem and The Sunrise Ruby is without a doubt the most beautiful even though it is not flawless but the vivid pure red color and the strong fluorescence make this ruby glow as if it is lit from within like an eternal flame.🔥

Today is President Rodrigo Roa Duterte's 2nd State Of The Nation Address or SONA. As expected his speech is long and entertaining to the delight of the live audience and those wathching on tv like me.
