Every country have a National Gem, if Australia have Opal, Emerald for Colombia, Ruby for Myanmar, The Philippines have the glorious South Sea pearl. The Philippines being called The Pearl Of The Orient Seas or Perlas Ng Silangan over a hundred years ago meant of the beauty of the islands, purity & innocence of its people even though istorically the finest natural pearls in the world originates from Sulu Archipelago in southern parts of The Philippines.

The ancient Chinese traders who flocked here to barter their goods in exchange for Philippine products have considered the Sulu pearls as the most precious rarities. No other natural pearls can be as large and bluish white without the color fading exists. Many of the large natural pearls from the various royal crowns in Europe are most likely Sulu pearls and after hundreds or thousands of years the pearls are still as lustrous as brand new.
