T ourmaline comes in so many varieties of colors like colorless, pink, red (rubellite) green which for those who believe in crystal magic is believed to enhance androgen that's why women are advised not to wear them but the rarest of all tourmaline is the 'paraiba tourmaline' named after the region Paraiba in Brazil where it was first mined & paraiba tourmalines also comes in many different shades of bright blue colors & the rarest & most valuable of them all is the 'neon carribean blue' pictured below.  This image is decades old & been used by GIA to demonstrate the finest color of tourmalines & it seems no other paraiba tourmaline possess such color making it one of the world's most valuable & rarest gems & even more rare than most precious stones there is like diamonds, rubies, sapphires & emeralds! L ast September 27, 2018 was the most special day in the Universe✨because it is my birthday! (laughs) And it has been a tradition of me ever since ever to gift myself some jewelry during my birthday! And it has been a tradition of me also since 2012 to gift myself the anniversary symbol of that particular year! Last 2012 the anniversary symbol of my birthday was the pearl & so I gifted myself gorgeous South Sea pearls pendant & diamonds set in yellow gold that I designed. This time my anniversary year is the coral and so this coral cuff is my birthday gift to myself! It is a carved red coral with two auspicious chinese symbols of phoenix & dragon chasing each other! T he most beautiful sapphire of them all is the 'cornflower blue' sapphire like this... Followed closely by 'royal blue' which can be as expensive as the 'cornflower blue' because oftentimes their demand is the greatest and this is how 'royal blue' looks like!  It's a bit darker than 'cornflower blue' & sometimes I like it better. Then the 3rd most beautiful shade of blue sapphire is the 'midnight blue' which is darker than the rest and almost appearing black in some lighting conditions & the color resembles the clear midnight sky or the deep blue sea. W hen I purchased an ultra rare orange diamond from Leibish & Co. over a year ago the obessesive compulsive disorder and perfectionist in me had a ton of question even though I already knew most of the answers but just for my peace of mind I made the salesteam from Leibish & Co. do an extra work of evaluating the clarity grade of the orange diamond coz to me the GIA Color & Origin Report wasn't enough and I trust the judgement of the salesteam of Leibish & Co. but then again I have OCD so days after I recieved the ring last July 2017 Leibish & Co. emailed me their updated appraisal of the orange diamond.  Why? Because it is extra FREE SERVICE & who doesn't like FREE!? The GIA Color And Origin Report plus Leibish & Co. own appraisal together with my own expert judgement just increases the value of the orange diamond ring just in case I decided to sell it in the future. W ithout further explanation with great difficulty here's the results in reverse order... In 3rd Place...   DEMANTOID GARNET! A very rare ge m rarer than white diamonds &  known for their higher dispersion or fire🔥than diamonds and is one of the most collectible gem in the world. One of the very few gems as well prized for their inclusions in the case of the finest Russian demantoid garnets with horsetail inclusions and the more pronounced the inclusions the more valuable. M y favorite birthstone for the month of August is also my second favorite gem specie next to diamonds & that is the lesser known gem 'spinel'. A gem that is hard & durable enough for daily wear & 'singly refractive' like diamonds which means they're excellent alternative to the extremely rare natural color diamonds because they're the closest in terms of appearance. Spinel is also rarer than most corundum including rubies and spinels comes in every colors of the rainbow🌈including white, grey & black.  The most commom colors of spinel are red & pink & the rarest of them all is the blue spinel. L ast July 29th 2018 I saw Esmeralda II lying dead on the floor and she smells dead. I assume she died a day before the day of the Blood Moon and my father's 5th death anniversary. She was sickly the day I left them same day I assume she died that's why I overdose her with multivutamins and the med for distemper just in case but when I arrived home after around 9pm July 29, 2018 this is what surprised me horribly!😿 I am kinda depressed it took me more than 24 hours to bury her already dead body being dead probably beyond 2 days. L ast July 5 around 4am Esmeraldo finally succumbed to death after battling & surviving an illness for over a week & unfortunately died. I buried him the next day around 9:30 AM Named after a precious stone 'emerald' this picture depicts Esmeraldo being carried to the 'Rainbow Bridge'🌈up there to the skies with twinkling stars living eternally in his Heavenly abode where he can ran wild & free.😻 Then a few days ago my favorite cat Earth had a miscarriage and it would have been her first baby. As you can see the baby looks premature that's why it didn't live long. L ast June 28, 2017 when I redeem my pawned pendant from Fely's Jewelry & Pawnshop there was an estate sale going on & I saw plenty of diamond rings💍💍with prices that are too good to be true. Like a diamond heart necklace with a sparkling perfectly cut looking round brilliant that appears to weigh between 0.25 to 0.30ct center stone that looks flawless & absolutely colorless surrounded by accent diamonds forming a heart shape.💙Then diamond engagement rings still round brilliant that appears to weigh between a carat to 1.20ct for only 52k pesos that's about $1k dollars!💰That's quite a bargain coz the diamond though I just looked from the window display appears to be near colorless G color & eye clean probably VS clarity & between Good cut to Very Good. E meraude along with 3 other litters was born somewhere in May I assumed at the first week. Her mother is a neighbor's cat, the mean cat that onced killed my kitten but I've forgiven. Obviously I became her master so she boought her litters to our house a few weeks later.
