O ctober has various gemstones that the colored stones industry wanted to promote but only opals  & pink tourmaline are in my opinion traditional October birthstones though pink tourmaline is considered a substitute which is to me it doesn't really make sense since opals are readily available & can be worn by both sex while pink tourmaline is quite feminine.  My mesmerizing 1.86ct step-cut deep purplish pink tourmaline soon to be set into jewelry! Tourmaline however comes in all the colors of the rainbow but it is only the pink tourmaline that is considered an October birthstone as it is the most common color for tourmalines though considered very rare & the finest pink tourmalines can sell for as much as $3k dollars or more per carat!  Opals on the other hand can sell for as much as $20k dollars per carat especially the Australian black opals with red & rainbow play of colors. I  am a traditionalist and choosing between opal & pink tourmaline as the birthstone for October I chosed opals for they are more unique and rare in the finest qualities. Opals comes in various qualities & pricepoints. Though the rarest opals have a pitch black bodycolor with red & rainbow play of colors I tend to like sky blue opals with play of color as it reminds me of the clear sky.  Opals are one of the very first gems I've collected in fact the 3rd gem variety I've owned & my first opals was a beautiful trio of pink crystal opals that I gave to my now estranged sister. Each one of those opals have a unique play of color pattern, one had a rainbow star pattern which is quite special & the other two are like paintings having all of the most glorious colors of the world.   I own several opals of various varieties & my top 2 favorites is an Australian colorless crystal opal set in comet designed brooch and my most valuable & rarest

M y new power bracelet! For those who didn't know 'power bracelet' is a piece of jewelry that will grab attention & respect or for example something you wear that will command attention of the people in the room or any place you enter!  This recent acquisition was a spur of the moment purchased after my mother and I watched the movie GEOSTORM  yesterday hopping from 3 malls then I stumbled upon this manly hefty gold ID bracelet! I knew this movie wouldn't that good coz the casts aren't that famous and yes I am a movie elitist. If a movie is not made by some BIG productions and starred with Hollywood A-Listers then it wouldn't be that great!  Still I like the movie though bcoz I was attracted to the BIG WAVES from the movie trailer & if tou know me you should know I have a thing for BIG WAVES but the movie is predictable even my mother sleeps at the moviehouse so I had to wake her up from time to time.  So I give this movie a... 🌟🌟🌟 and a Half Stars Rating! M y 3rd jewelry project for 2017!  The design had been chosen and the stones selected  all in an impromptu just early morning today! Now the my avant-garde pinky ring design is ready to be made! It took me only a few minutes to finalized & sketched what I had in mind. Days before, selecting which precious stones to be used for the ring is a daunting task coz I had a few options & I couldn't decide until the last minute. It's like judging beauty contestants and choosing which is the most beautiful of them all... And the focal point of the design is probably my favorite colored gemstone in my collection at the moment which is this exceptionally rare & attractive 11.45 carats internally flawless 100% color-change Alexandrite! The side stones are two natural star rubies that I had since 2013 & I'm finally glad to have them mounted in jewelry & there's a special meaning about those two rubies & they remind me of my rescued cats named Rubi &

I am no longer perfect! Yes you read that right! But why?  Well that's bcoz last January my BVLGARI b.zero white gold pinky ring got too tight on my pinky finger when I put it in and it irritated my finger which caused it to bloat coupled with the fact that when I eat too much salt I get bloated and I love eating chips or junk foods which made the situation worst. It took me 5 months to be finally able to remove the ring and then it looks like this now... The bone of my pinky finger got deformed! I cannot sue BVLGARI bcoz I bought the b.zero 18kt white gold ring from an estate jewelry sale so it doesn't have a certificate even though it comes with a serial number and the craftsmanship is truly only what an original BVLGARI can be.  So my plan is to design a very long pinky ring that will almost cover the rest of my pinky finger to correct the ugly deformity or at least cover it in the most elegant and glamorous way like how the gorgeous & sexy BOND GIRL Elek

What Should I Prefer?... A House?... There's been a dispute in my generally stupid family, stupid because my estranged siblings wanted to sell our most expensive property in Novaliches Quezon City which is the center of it all and a prime location that is flood free and in very good condition no need for repairs.  So why sell the most perfect property that doesn't cost us troubles!? The location of the house is the center of it all, a walking distance to big malls, tv network, businesess etc etc. In other words it is convenient! If you live and work there you will earn more and if you do business there you will earn more as well! That's why the value of properties in the richest city in The Philippines are very expensive bcoz it is the center of trade and commerce and most people there who are good at making money will certainly be succesful!  We have more useless properties that needs to sell like a farm lot which we don't farm and a lot with cottage

Today is supposed to be the 73rd birthday of my Papa if only he lives. He died at the age of 68 4 years ago due to a massive heart attack. Well obviously my mean ill hearted & ill tempered drug & computer addict estranged brothers is the reason for his heartaches.💔 In my case he has nothing but adoration and fascination to me well obviously coz I'm not like everybody else as my choices have proven how extraordinary I am! 😂 I got my intelligence from my father as they say but I am wiser coz I can only count from 1 to 3 the times I have been fooled by anyone and I always make the right choices. What I can say about my father is that he can be controlling or a control freak until I learned to rebel and fight for my rights and my choices. But my father can be loving and had a good sense of humor & fun to be with. He is very simple as what most people can claim and the only luxurious things he had is his DSLR camera (which he uses alot to take photographs
